Seismicity Hearing
In the week beginning 17 October 2011 the Commission conducted a public hearing in which we considered evidence and submissions on:
- New Zealand's geological setting;
- the seismological model for New Zealand, and in particular for Canterbury; and
- the nature and severity of the Canterbury earthquakes.
