Decision of Justice Cooper - Cvetanov Application

Yesterday the Commission publicly heard an application from Srecko (Alec) Cvetanov. Mr Cvetanov's wife Dr Tamara Cvetanova died in the collapsed CTV building on 23 February 2011.

The hearing involved legal submissions on the interpretation of the Commission's Terms of Reference. Commission chairperson Justice Mark Cooper reserved his decision.

Today Justice Cooper has released his decision. It sets out the reasons why the Terms of Reference do not allow the Royal Commission to include the matters raised by Mr Cvetanov in its inquiry.

The decision in full is available in full on the Terms of Reference section of the Commission’s website.
