The Royal Commission is not subject to the Privacy Act

canterbury.royalcommission.govt.nz and canterbury-hearings.royalcommission.govt.nz are administered by the Department of Internal Affairs ("the Department") on behalf of the Canterbury Earthquakes Royal Commission ("the Commission"). The purpose of this privacy policy is to let users of these websites know and what is done with it.

This privacy policy relates only to these websites. It does not cover personal information provided or collected during the course of the Royal Commission's inquiry.

The Commission is not subject to the Privacy Act 1993.
