Schedule of Hearings

The Commission has obtained a large amount of information from various sources. As part of our inquiry process, we conduct public hearings at which some of this information is presented as evidence. Evidence received in other forms (other than witnesses at hearings) is still considered by the Commissioners.

The hearings are held at St Teresa's church hall on the corner of Riccarton Road and Puriri Street, Christchurch. The start time is 10am on Monday and 9.30am Tuesday to Thursday. In general there is a lunch break from 1pm to 2.15pm before resuming for the afternoon session which concludes at about 5pm.

Please note some days may be half days and on occasion a hearing topic may be completed before the end of the week. Hearings will not be held on public holidays.
