For Bereaved Families & Seriously Injured

Families in New Zealand, Australia, China, Thailand, Malaysia, Israel, Great Britain, Taiwan, USA, Canada, the Philippines, Japan, Korea, Ireland and Turkey lost loved ones in the 22 February 2011 Canterbury earthquake. Many people also suffered serious injuries.

The Royal Commission has completed its inquiry and delivered all of its Final Report to the Governor-General. At the request of bereaved families, a summary of the CTV section of the Final Report has been translated into Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai. The Final Report and the translations of some of Part Three, Volume 6 are published on this website: Volume 6: Canterbury Television Building (CTV).
